As a nurse who has worked in an clinic which offers options for reproductive rights, I can say that the most common feeling after an abortion is relief. I have had patients say to me " You have saved me". I've seen domestic violence, poverty and mental health impact on women's lives when denied access to abortions and other options such as Mirinas and emergency contraception. I can not fathom why anyone should be left with no options except to have a child into a house with domestic violence, poverty and mental health issues. I ask the Board of Ethics, how the hell is that ethical in any shape or form?
